Listing the Reasons They Need Help
If your elderly loved one is fighting against the help you are trying to get for them, it may be time to sit with them and make a list of the things they need help with. For example, you might feel that your elderly loved one needs help with bathing because you are afraid they are going to fall. Your elderly loved one might feel as if they can take a bath on their own. There might be a middle ground. Preferences Matter
